Dru currently lives in Los Angeles, prier to which he resided in New York City and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. The most recent film he appeared in, directed by David Parker, won the Audience Choice Award at the Vail Film Festival and featured the rap mogul Russell Simons. Dru is slated to play a principle role in David Parker’s next film, Sister Ray. He is also scheduled for a lead role in ART’s production of Together Again for the First Time starring Patty Duke, which has been rescheduled for the ‘07 winter season. Dru can be seen in the Internet sitcom Duder.

In addition to his screen work Dru originated the role of Sam Vincent (principle) in the Off Broadway production of, The Magnificent Mr. Vincent, which played at the John Houseman Theatre. He also appeared regularly at the Rocket Ship Theatre Work Shop, where he preformed both his original work and his stage adaptations of Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (David Foster Wallace) among other selections. Dru was an ensemble member of Artattack Theatre in Ashland, Oregon.
